'80 Fiat part of man's La Dolce Vita

Sarah’s dad, Delmer Teet, is also an Italian car fan, so for her it’s a natural part of family life. Indeed, the Houchin family has found room for two of these runabouts, a 1980 Fiat X1/9 and a 1983 Fiat Pininfarina design Spider. It’s a busy life that demands motoring practicality — the kind one would expect of a mini-van, not a two-seat Italian sports car. Delmer has a rare 1976 Lancia Scorpion show car and Sarah drove a Fiat Spider all through college. “Sarah actually wants to start using the 1983 Spider as her daily driver. He and wife, Sarah, both work demanding jobs in Norman, and they are raising three kids together. “She is attached to ours and enjoys driving them,” Houchin said.
