Hollywood’s stars came out on January 6 to celebrate the Peoples Choice Awards, but when it came to their jewelry – the choice among celebrities was clear: diamonds and platinum all the way.

Bracelet and earring combinations were the most common choice among the leading ladies, with neckwear noticeably absent perhaps due to the high asymmetrical necklines on many of the star’s dresses. Platinum was the setting of choice, with some gold seen as well.

Queen Latifah, the show’s host, donned platinum and diamond drop earrings (20 carats each), platinum and diamond brooch, and a platinum and diamond ring by Neil Lane during her performance.

Mariah Carey accepted the award for Favorite R&B Star wearing platinum and diamond bracelets, and platinum and diamond chandelier earrings, also by Neil Lane

Mary J. Blige and Kaley Cuoco were among the many celebrities that favored matching diamond bracelets with diamond and platinum stud earrings. Blige wore platinum earrings with white and brown diamonds, and a platinum bracelet with multi-colored diamonds by Lorraine Schwartz and Cuoco sported platinum and diamond ring, and platinum and diamond stud earrings by Beladora.
