I spent much of the holidays in the hospital. Unlike previous hospital stays I was alert and walking around. I actually noticed the nurses that cared for me. Some of the nurses were so nice to me that I felt that I needed something to show them how much I appreciated them.

I decided to go back to a technique I learned over a year ago in a workshop given by Deryn Mentock .   In the workshop we made a Joujou Charm Keeper Necklace over a 2-day period.  Here’s a link to my post about that workshop,  I Went Pink For Deryn Mentock’s Joujou Charm Keeper Workshop .

This time I decided to keep it simple.  Instead of a lot of  handmade links I used some findings that I had in my collections, the keys, butterflies and flowers.  I made slightly smaller wire charm keepers and wire-wrapped an end cap and hook for on a leather cord necklace.
