Authenticity Collection: Garnet Necklace with Rutilated Quartz Sterling Silver Clasp

Two gorgeous strands of burgundy garnet discs (called heishi) are suspended between a sturdy sterling silver (.925) box clasp embedded with polished rutilated quartz. Rutilated quartz is white with straight black strands passing through the stone. The quartz stands out in contrast to the wine colored garnet to make for an eye-catching design.

Who takes center stage? You decide. To highlight the garnet, wear the clasp traditionally around the back of the neck or, to showcase the quartz, the clasp may be worn in the front asymmetrically on the side.

Each garnet strand is securely attached to the clasp with two double ring split rings. (Split rings are made like a keychain ring to prevent detachment). The ends of the stringing material are finished with sterling silver wire guards to prevent fraying.

This choker length necklace is about 16 1/2 inches (42cm).

All components are sterling silver.
