Beautiful ring I purchased as my engagement ring. Only thing is it doesn’t shine like it did when brand new. I’ve only owned it for 3 weeks and its lost its original luster. I’ve been very careful to take it off before washing or applying lotion, the ring just grows dull over time. I think if I get it polished it would be as good as new tho…
I ordered this ring a few months ago for my fiance. I received it on time but the ring was not all that I expected.The mother of pearl is what really attracted me. I own a watch with a mother of pearl face and the ring cannot compare to it. It’s lighter than expected and does not shine as much as it does in the picture. Overall it’s an ok ring but I will be getting my fiance another ring.
The inlay is pieced together from 7 rectangular pieces of mother of pearl. It’s unfortunate that it couldn’t be done with fewer pieces, but each piece looks great. If you’re like me, you’ll come to appreciate the uniqueness of each piece in different lights. Also, it has a smooth and comfortable fit.
